Program: Primer – Roswell National Championship Air Races

Flight Test Pilot, Pitts owner, and chapter member Erik Viking attended the Pilot Racing School at Roswell last year, helping test out the course, and considering participation in the biplane class.
He will offer an overview of National Championship Air Racing, specifics about race classes, and ways to enjoy this long standing event, now held in Roswell, New Mexico! With all 7 race classes participating PLUS the US Thunderbirds, it will be something! Aircraft displays are expected to include a B-52, B29, B24 and more.
Volunteer with fellow aviators and enthusiasts for Wing Walking, People Movers, Information Booth, and other positions still needed—contact Joyce Woods at (505)456-0832 if you are interested.
Directions: Take North or South bound Coors Blvd to Cottonwood Mall. Take the Cottonwood Loop to the south end of the parking lot. BJ’s is in a separate building.
Monthly Chapter Gatherings offer time to network, with programs centered on exchanging experiences and ideas about aviation – airplanes, flying, and flying activities – rather than the chapter business addressed in Board meetings.
