EAA Chapter 179 organizes Fly-outs for its Members and guests. These offer the opportunity for pilots and guests to ‘go somewhere’, typically a morning flight to a destination within a couple of hours flying time, and sharing time and eating breakfast.
These Fly-outs have been organized for November 2021:
- Sunday, November 7; Fly out to Grants-Milan (KGNT) & breakfast at the WOW Diner.
Arrive at Grants-Milan Airport by 9:00 for shared ground transport. Individual orders off the menu at the WOW. RSVPs appreciated to Brandon Fryar by Nov 4 if you plan to go: bfryar@live.com. Confirm if you want a ride to the WOW. - Sunday, November 21; Fly out to Las Cruces (KLRU) for EAA Chapter 555 breakfast
Breakfast served from 8 – 10AM (bring cash). Target arrival by 0900 if possible. Sunrise: 6:48AM. Taxi to the east end for aircraft parking on the ramp near covered aircraft parking. It’s a short walk along the hangar taxiway to the big EAA Chapter 555 hangar. Everyone is invited to linger after the breakfast to socialize.
